Some excellent progress in the last few days. The Port Severn environs continue to clear out, and the shoreline south of Byng Inlet just lost half of its ice pack.
By the end of the week, however, winds will shift again and begin to move the surface ice back towards the eastern shoreline. Hopefully by then most of it will have dispersed.
